Who Is Your Valentine?
It’s that time of the year when love is in the air and sales of chocolates, roses and greeting cards soar to record high! This February sees two celebrations: Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year and if you haven’t noticed, you can’t seem to escape the colour red – from red hearts and roses to gold stamped red Chinese envelopes that are stuffed with money and given as a gifts. While Valentine’s Day is a great reminder, we hope that you’ll join us in spreading the love year round. In this newsletter, we share with you events and news that we have organized for some of our clients. We are also excited to share our first free e-book. Scroll down below and see how you can download a copy.
Our client, Grab Taxi, continues to steal the spotlight with two announcements this month. With over 3 million downloads of the GrabTaxi mobile app around the Southeast Asian region, GrabTaxi launched the free Line stickers called “Grab Taxi Happy Boy”. From now until February 14th, their “Romance Delivery” promotion allows passengers to enjoy a no-booking fee for up to 5 rides during this period, along with delivery of free bouquets and hotel vouchers.
Our free e-book was launched in January. If you did not get a chance to download it, please do so. The e-book is a compilation of articles that we have written over the years on a wide range of topics within the field of marketing and public relations.
We hope these articles help you with your business. The e-book is free and is in different versions. These articles might help you with your next PR or marketing campaign. We have topics such as, ‘How to plan a successfully marketing campaign’, ‘The psychology in Marketing’, ‘Maximizing your media coverage’, to name a few.
Always networking with the same crowd? Want to make new connections? Then join us at our monthly networking lunch. The next one is on 12th February from 11.00am to 1:30pm at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand, Maneeya Building, BTS Chidlom. (www.fccthai.com) If you cannot make it to this month’s event, we host an event every second Thursday of the month. Visit www.bnow.org to find more information on our networking lunch.
The Bangkok Business Connections is different because it is a proactive way to network with other businesses. Instead of the usual one to one networking style in a social setting or speed-networking, the format is one to group. Each attendee gets an opportunity to stand up and present their company and the kind of leads or referral they would like to get from the group. For more information, please click here.
Should you have interesting stories or articles related to marketing and PR, please feel free to share with us.
Have a great 2015!
Thank you and warm regards,
Pacharee Pantoomano & Kittima Sethi
